Emmaleene Leahy’s fiction has been published in FlashFlood the National Flash-Fiction Day journal, 2012, 2013, 2014, Cake.shortandsweet issue 5, Wordlegs: Post-Tiger Stories, Three Broken Ribs and Eating my Words, 2014 national Flash Fiction day Anthology.
She was long-listed for Fish Publishing Flash Fiction Prize 2013. She was short-listed for Retreat West Flash Fiction competition and Big Smoke Writing Factory’s competition The 99.
Her poetry appeared in journals at U.C.D. (All Boys Can Dance) and T.C.D. (The Attic). She has a 1st class Hons M.A. in Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama and has criticism published in New Voices in Irish Literary Criticism.
